  • Candidates must be citizens of India.
  • Pass in Higher Secondary examination of the Board of HSE of Kerala or an examination recognized thereto.
  • Candidates should qualify the Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Government of Kerala.

For the Continuation of the scholarship (Category 1), in the subsequent semesters the candidate will have to, (In first chance)

  1. Earn the prescribed credits for each semester (S1 to S8) stipulated by the university and maintain an SGPA (Only for S1)/CGPA of 7.0.
  2. If a student admitted under Category 1, fails to earn the required credits for any subject in that semester stipulated by the university and/or score less than SGPA (Only for S1)/CGPA of 7.0, he will slide to next immediate Scheme in the next semester which is Scheme1 (20,000 per semester) and so on in further semester to Scheme2 (30,000 per semester), and finally to Scheme 3 (37,500 per semester, which is Category 2). Further, if the student earns SGPA 8.0 in the immediate next semester, he/she can return back to the next immediate scheme, else the candidate will remain in the immediate previous scheme if he maintains CGPA 7.0
  3. Those students, not eligible for getting the scholarship at the time of admission, (admitted in Category 2), can get scholarship in the following semesters jumping to the next immediate Scheme, Scheme 3 (30,000 per semester), Scheme 2 (20,000 per semester) and finally to Scheme 1 (8500 per year, which is Category 1), if they earn the prescribed credits for that semester stipulated by the university and earn a SGPA (Only for S1)/CGPA of 8.0If they earn 7 CGPA, that particular scheme he was availing in the previous semester can be maintained in the next semester.
